interiorinstyle has recently decorated the offices of DMG World Media. Organisers of the DesignEx trade show at which interiorinstyle exhibited, DMG's offices needed a bit of sprucing up and interiorinstyle were more than happy to oblige.

The office areas were decked out in designs from both the Autumn/Winter 09 & Spring/Summer 09/10 ranges, featuring wall art from free form dandelions & the creativity requires quote to kitchen cutlery and new Parisian themed designs such as the Paris Skyline.

The team at DMG absolutley loved these new additions to their office, commenting on the wall art's vibrancy and colour. interiorinstyle were very pleased to continue our relationship with DMG World Media and hope that our removable room art will bring some life and joy to their work environments.

Birdcages in the Breakfast Room

Faye from Presently, a stylish gift shop in Bay Rd, North Brighton, Victoria has an eye for good design.

At the Sydney LifeinStyle trade show, Faye purchased an interiorinstyle Birdcage sticker kit. She has kindly sent interiorinstyle photos of her breakfast room which she has transformed by using interiorinstyle Birdcage decals. Faye writes,” the Birdcage stickers were easy to install. They have added an elegant touch.”

Year of the Dog, located at 275 Hampton St, Hampton, Victoria, is now selling interiorinstyle removable room art Dogs. Celebrate the winter solstice this weekend.

Winter is upon us. This weekend, Sunday 21st marks the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere.

The winter solstice in the southern hemisphere occurs when the Sun’s position in the sky is at its furtherest from the equatorial plane. This occurrence lasts for an instance but the winter solstice is popularly seen as lasting the full 24 hours on the day it occurs. This day can be either the 20th or 21st June. This year the instance will be at 05.45 on the 21st June. Last year it was 23.59 on the 20th June 2008. Next year it will be 11.28 on the 21st June 2010.

The seasonal significance of the winter solstice is in the reversal of the gradually lengthening nights and shortening days. So Sunday 21st June may be described as midwinter. The turning point - shortest day and the longest night for the year.

The winter solstice is celebrated in many cultures as a recognition of rebirth. Celebrations include holidays, festivals, gathering and rituals.

interiorinstyle @ Club Swans Wine Tasting

CLUB SWANS recently invited interiorinstyle to showcase some of our wall stickers at their first wine tasting event. Our wall stickers were very well received, and added to the ambience and professional theming of the room. One of the winemakers liked the wall art designs so much, he incorporated our ever popular birdcage design into his tasting area. And although we are biased, the birdcage room decorations lifted his wine tasting area into a really professional and well finished demonstration outfit.

It looked great with the wine labels and packaging and received a lot of positive comments through out the evening. Thanks to Brothers Parade for letting us have some fun with our wall stencils! Also featured throughout the event was our timeless tree of season design (Autumn and Winter). This wall decal design is a personal favourite and looked great on the black paint (Autumn tree of season wall sticker) and also the white translucent panelling (Winter tree of season wall sticker). interiorinstyle wish to congratulate and thank CLUB SWANS for such a fabulous event. It allowed interiorinstyle the opportunity to showcase our products and brand to over 300 new people (as well as sip the odd glass of wine and nibble on some cheese).
